Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan has a diverse work experience in the field of college advancement and fundraising. Michael started their career at Springbrook, Inc. as a Resource Development Coordinator from 2003 to 2005. Michael then joined The Philadelphia Zoo as a Grants Associate from 2006 to 2007. Michael continued their career at State University of New York College at Oneonta as a Manager of Stewardship and Communications from 2007 to 2012. Michael then moved on to SUNY Oneonta as the Director of Advancement Services & Donor Relations from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they provided leadership and support to Development operations and supervised staff in gift processing and donor relations. Michael also worked at SUNY Delhi as the Assistant Vice President for College Advancement from 2017 to 2019 and later became the Vice President for College Advancement. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President for Advancement at the State University of New York at Delhi. In their roles, they have focused on building and implementing strategies for alumni engagement, development, and fundraising, as well as managing day-to-day operations of advancement functions.

Michael Sullivan obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Local Government & Nonprofit Management from Binghamton University in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at SUNY Oneonta, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from 1998 to 2000. Before attending SUNY Oneonta, they had studied at SUNY Brockport from 1996 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
