Joseph C. Hoffman

Joseph C. Hoffman has an extensive academic career at SUNY Maritime College, where since August 1977, Joseph C. has held various leadership and teaching positions, including Faculty Coordinator for the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence, State University Distinguished Teaching Professor, and Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science. Hoffman served as Interim Dean of the School of Business, Science and Humanities and held significant roles as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of Graduate Studies, Interim Chair of the Engineering Department, and Chair of the Science Department. Additionally, Hoffman was Acting President at SUNY College of Technology at Canton from June 2013 to June 2014. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics - Computer Science, a Master of Science in Mathematics, and a Doctor of Education in Education.
