Jimmy Wong

Jimmy Wong has a long and diverse work experience in various companies. Jimmy started their career in 1986 as a Responsible Project Manager at the Institut des Energies Renouvelables and worked there until 1990. After that, they joined SEDEP as an Engineer Project Manager for a year before moving to Electricite De Tahiti (EDT) in 1991. At EDT, they initially worked as an Engineer Project Manager until 1995 and then became the Chief of Operations Production until 1999. Jimmy's last position was as the General Director at Sunzil Polynesie, a role they held from 1999 onwards. In this role, they had full autonomy to manage the company, which had an employee strength of 34 (reduced to 11 by 2000) and generated a significant turnover of approximately 1200 MCFP.

Jimmy Wong attended ESSEC Business School from 2014 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Formation Management Opérationnel ESSEC. Before that, they studied at Mines Paris from 1983 to 1986, earning a Diplôme d'ingénieur with a specialization in machine énergétique.
