Davide Fontana

Davide Fontana has extensive work experience in supply chain management and digital transformation. Davide is currently the Director of Global Demand & Supply Management at Suominen Corporation. Prior to this role, they worked at SC Johnson for over two decades in various positions. These roles included being a Digital Transformation Product Owner, a Global Supply Chain Planning Manager, an EMEA Purchasing & Supplier Relationship Manager, an EMEA Category Program Manager, and a European New Products Commercialization Manager. Davide was also involved in SAP implementation projects and led cross-functional teams for process improvement initiatives. Before joining SC Johnson, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Andersen Consulting.

Davide Fontana's education history includes obtaining a Laurea - Master of Science degree in Ingegneria Gestionale - Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they attended from 1989 to 1997. Davide also received a high school degree with a scientific orientation from Liceo Scientifico, which they completed from 1984 to 1989. Additionally, Davide completed a certification in logistics, materials, and supply chain management, called Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) in 2001.

In terms of additional certifications, Davide obtained a certificate in Leading Edge Negotiation from Université de Genève in November 2015. Davide also acquired a certification in Risk Management from ESI International in May 2013, and completed a course on Working Effectively across Cultures at Communicaid in September 2012. Moreover, Davide obtained certifications in Project Management, Management Mastery Workshop, Project Management Practices, and Foundations of Leadership from various institutions between 2008 and 2012. Davide also completed courses in Situational Leadership II, Practice of Management, and New Product Development in earlier years. Lastly, Davide received a certification in Certified in Production and Inventory Management from APICS in March 2001.
