UI Art & Design Guru at Super Evil Megacorp

Phil Nixon has extensive experience as a Senior UI Artist, starting in 2008 as a Professional Game Artist at Atomic Planet Entertainment. Phil then worked as a Lead UI Artist at Ubisoft Reflections, where they contributed to the UI design and flow of games such as Monster 4X4 Stunt Racer and Driver San Francisco. In 2009, they co-founded Learnit3D and served as the Technical Art Director, developing award-winning Skills for Work Assessment Products.

From 2010 to 2011, Phil worked as a Lead UI Artist at Ubisoft, where they played a significant role in creating the UI for Driver San Francisco on multiple platforms. Phil later joined Ruffian Games as the Lead UI Artist and contributed to their projects. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Epic Games as a Senior UI Artist.

In 2017, Phil joined CCP Games as a Senior UI Artist, working on Eve: Valkyrie to add 2D support for consoles and PC.

Phil then joined Sumo Digital Ltd in 2018 and worked on various announced and unannounced projects until 2023, including Project 'Condor' with Remedy Entertainment and HOOD with Focus Entertainment, where they were responsible for branding, graphic design, UI direction, animation, and special effects.

Most recently, Phil Nixon joined Super Evil Megacorp in 2023 as a Senior UI Artist.

Phil Nixon attended Hetton Tech College, School of Life, from 1983 to 1987. During their time there, they pursued a degree in English Literature, Language, Art, and Music. Phil successfully completed their studies and earned a Doctor of Political Sciences - JD degree.
