Michele D'Aliessi

Co-Founder & COO at Superfluid Finance

Michele D'Aliessi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michele is the Co-Founder and COO of Superfluid, a real-time settlement solution that utilizes blockchain technology. Michele is also an Advisor in Token Economics at Fabric Ventures, an early-stage VC Fund investing in Web 3.0 companies and decentralized data networks. Michele has also served as a Visiting Lecturer in Blockchain Technology at Bayes Business School.

Prior to these roles, Michele worked at the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology as a Digital Industry Lead UK, where they supported startups in international expansion and researched emerging technologies for investment opportunities. Michele was also the Head of Growth at Makr Shakr, a robotic bartender company where they negotiated sales deals, managed customer portfolios, and launched their fully automated mobile robotic bar at Expo Milan 2015.

In addition, Michele has experience as a Venture Scout at PoliHub - Innovation District & Startup Accelerator, where they supported startups scouting and evaluated business plans. Michele also held lectures on Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Technologies at Politecnico di Milano Business School.

Lastly, Michele is the Co-Founder of Ympact.org, a non-profit organization focused on promoting entrepreneurial action among young generations. Michele has interviewed entrepreneurs and investors in Europe and the US and supported the international team.

Prior to their extensive work experience, Michele worked as a Junior Consultant at WebScience srl, where they contributed to a global intranet redesign project for a multinational firm.

Michele D'Aliessi pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Università degli Studi di Udine, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Michele then moved on to attend Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Management and ICT from 2010 to 2013. During their time at Politecnico di Milano, Michele also had the opportunity to study at Aalto University as part of the Erasmus program, focusing on Business Management from 2011 to 2012. Lastly, in 2012 to 2013, Michele joined ETH Zürich to participate in the UNITECH program, which enhanced their skills in Business Management.
