Karla Garcia

Karla Garcia has been working in the accounting and sales fields since 2016. Karla began their career as a Congressional Intern for Henry Cuellar For Congress in 2016, where they cooperated with departmental units for grants, constituent services, and global business forecasting, and operated as a Congressional Intern managing constituent services and issues with cases involving government agencies. In 2017, they became a Sales Lead for LOFT BY ANN TAYLOR, where they collaborated with departmental units by training junior personnel and administration, demonstrated and communicated solid working knowledge of products, equipment, and procedures, and administered, audit, and balanced cash till to prepare and make daily deposits. From 2018 to 2020, Karla worked as a Sales Associate for Room For More, where they performed contract reviews for self-storage facility units to the lessors involved in the lease agreement, processed payments, and designed marketing advertisements and operated social media platforms. Most recently, Karla has been working as an Accounts Payable Coordinator for Supergoop! since 2022, as well as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Clerk, and Reception Administrative Assistant for Killam Oil Company since 2020.

Karla Garcia is currently pursuing their MBA at The University of Texas at Austin, which they began in 2022. Previously, they attended Texas A&M International University from 2016 to 2020, where they studied Finance and International Economics. In 2018, they also attended Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
