Jon Tanaka

Jon Tanaka has over twenty years of experience in manufacturing operations in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Supira Medical, Jon held a V.P. of Operations role with a Shifamed portfolio company, Atia Vision. Jon has managed successful exits through acquisitions as Director of Operations with Sadra Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific) where he led the operations of an innovative TAVR technology. Prior to that, Jon was an Engineering Manager for CyroVascular Systems, Inc. (acquired by Boston Scientific) and Product Development Engineer for Guidant (CardioThoracic Systems, Inc.). Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
