Scott Anderson is a General Partner of Supply Chain Ventures. He most recently served as President of Design and Technology at Intersection, as Alphabet’s first acquisition in the smart city space by Sidewalk Labs. He was also Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, of Control Group, a technology and design company that helped organizations envision and build products and platforms. Through strategic consulting, user-centered design, and multi-discipline engineering, Control Group enabled organizations to translate their brands into more meaningful and profitable connections with their stakeholders across digital and physical touch points. The firm was recognized as one of AdAge magazine’s Creativity 50, and Intersection has won many awards for its product, LinkNYC.
Anderson focuses on building strategic relationships, helping companies and organizations achieve product and service goals through technology insights and implementation, and has a large network for recruiting top-level talent.
Scott is active in community and civic affairs in NYC and in Dutchess County, serving on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association, and a Board Member of The Wassaic Project. He is a Founder of the UA Maker Academy in Manhattan, a CTE public high school focused on design and technology, and a founding Board Member of the Fund for Public Housing, investing in public housing communities with public-private partnerships.
