Thomas Smit

Thomas Smit is an experienced educator specializing in General Economics and Business Economics, currently teaching at Supreme College Nederland since August 2021 and at Jac. P. Thijsse College since August 2014. At Jac. P. Thijsse College, Thomas instructs upper-level students in Economics, Business Economics, and Global Challenges, while also taking on leadership roles such as Section Leader for Economics and Business Economics and mentoring students. Thomas has been involved in multiple initiatives, including the development of formative assessment practices, organizing international exchange programs, and supporting student councils. Additionally, Thomas has contributed to educational quality through involvement in school audits at Stichting Voortgezet Onderwijs Kennemerland and served in various capacities at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Thomas holds a Master of Education in General Economics and Management Accounting and a Bachelor of Education in General Economics and Finance & Control.
