Mason N. Whipps

Mason Whipps has extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Executive VP and COO at Surangel and Sons Company since June 1994, Whipps is also a Senator at the Palau National Congress since January 2013. Additional positions include Chairman and Vice President of Eurasia Pacific Lines, and President of Socio Micronesia Inc., both held since October 2010 and July 2005, respectively. Previously, Whipps served as Speaker of the Airai State Legislature from April 2006 to January 2013 and was a Board Member at the Palau Chamber of Commerce from March 2009 to August 2012. Whipps has also contributed as Vice-Chairman of the Financial Institutions Commission from October 2002 to October 2008. Educationally, Whipps holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Walla Walla University, attended Andrews University, and received a diploma from Palau Mission Academy.
