Emilien Di Gennaro has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2003 as a Commercial Agent for Sofinco and ending in 2022 as a Member of the Board of Directors for GOGLA. In 2004, they completed an internship as a China Appliances National Joint Business Plan Manager for Carrefour. In 2006, they worked as an External Financial Auditor for Ernst & Young. From 2007-2011, they worked for Procter & Gamble in various roles, including Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Training Manager for Geneva Finance Assistant Community, and Corporate Financial Controller for Western Europe HQ. From 2011-2014, they completed a World Bike Tour and a 52-day journey on a tall ship, sailing from Argentina to South Africa via Antarctica. In 2014, they worked as a Group FP&A Manager and Financial Controller for Panamex Pacific. From 2015-2018, they worked as a Finance & Strategy Director for the Food Division and Group Director of Strategy, FP&A, Management Reporting, and Product Supply Finance for Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. From 2018-2021, they worked as a Cluster Managing Director for Senegal & Mali and a Country Director for Senegal for PEGAfrica.
Emilien Di Gennaro obtained a US High School Diploma from Adrian High School in Minnesota in 1997-1998. Emilien then completed a Preparation for Business School Entrance Exams at Lycee du Parc from 2000-2002. In 2002-2007, they obtained a Master in Management-Corporate Finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management. In 2005-2006, they obtained an MBA in International Business from the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta. In 2021, they obtained a Presentation Tips for Pitching to Investors certification from LinkedIn. In 2002, they obtained a Microsoft User Specialist certification from Microsoft.
