Alex S. has over 30 years of experience in engineering and leadership roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Engineering at SureFire, LLC since July 2014, Alex is responsible for the design of illumination tools and accessories for high-risk professionals. Previously, Alex managed engineering operations at Custom Power, where oversight included the development of advanced battery management systems. Prior roles include serving as President and CEO of PowerQ Technologies, Senior Manager at Clarion Advanced Technology Corporation, and various engineering positions at Geotest MTS, Rockwell Aircraft Systems Division, and Hughes Aircraft Company, focusing on cutting-edge military and consumer technologies. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and UC Irvine.
