Doug Swanson

Doug Swanson has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Doug began their career at Textron Financial in 1994 as a Developer. Doug then worked as a Consultant/Developer at Cenex Land O'Lakes in 1996 and as a Consultant/Lead Developer at the University of Minnesota in 1997. In 1998, they joined 3M as a Software Consultant before moving on to Synchrono in 2002, where they worked as a Software Engineer. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at Virtual Radiologic Corporation, developing web portal applications using C#, ASP.Net, jQuery, and Ajax. In 2012, they joined Target as a Sr. Engineer, leading an offshore development team on a point of sale integration project. Doug then worked at Evidentia Health, Inc. from 2013 to 2015 as a Software Engineer, specializing in web-based development. Currently, they are working at Surescripts as a Sr. Software Engineer, focusing on web development and service development using various technologies such as ASP.NET Web API, React with Redux, Angular, .NET, Entity Framework, and Oracle. Doug is also experienced in using Git for source control and Jenkins/Ansible for builds and deploys.

Doug Swanson attended North Iowa High School, though the exact years of their enrollment are unknown. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Computer Science, from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Doug attended the university from 1988 until 1993.
