Ed Bolles

Ed Bolles has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry, beginning with Aetna Life & Casualty in 1984. Ed held various roles, including Senior Manager, where they were responsible for the design and delivery of new commercial and personal policy writing platforms. In 1994, they founded Shoreline Software, Inc., a 20-person consulting practice providing advanced Microsoft technology services and application construction. In 1997, they worked as an Independent Consultant on a team of Microsoft and independent consultants hired to build an insurance policy writing product customized for AIG. Ed then joined SS&C Technologies in 1998 as a Product Architect, where they reduced trade workflow to 1 day by creating the XE system integration product. In 2000, they moved to CIGNA as Director of Enterprise Architecture, where they were responsible for enterprise application and infrastructure roadmaps, standards, and governance. In 2006, they joined The Hartford as Head of Technology Engineering, where they improved application stability by 50%, cost by 40%, and time-to-delivery by 100%+. Ed then moved to Invesco Ltd. in 2016 as Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Planning, where they were responsible for business and technology strategy development. In 2018, they joined Olmstead Associates as a Strategic Advisor and Managing Director. Most recently in 2020, they co-founded Suretys, an innovative insurance product that replaces the need for cosigners for car buyers with limited or no credit history.

Ed Bolles obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Quinnipiac University in 1985. Ed also obtained a certification in Giving Your Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn in March 2018.
