Dean Hartry

Dean Hartry is an experienced professional in the fields of sales, marketing, and partnership management, currently serving as the Director of Sales, Partnerships, and Events at Surf Abu Dhabi since October 2023. Previously, Dean operated a consulting business with 1Bounce Group from November 2010 to October 2023, focusing on strategic partnerships, sales, marketing, and events. As Commercial Director and General Manager at Esher Rugby Football Club from April 2015 to September 2023, Dean developed and executed commercial strategies and managed corporate partnerships and event sales. Educationally, Dean holds a Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Staffordshire University, earned between 2015 and 2017, and completed high school at Durban High School from 1991 to 1995. Additional experience includes roles at Professional Sports Group, Quiksilver, Zigzag Surf Magazine, and HP Ireland, showcasing a strong foundation in brand management, advertising, and customer relations.
