Ben Sproul

Ben Sproul is an accomplished marketing communications professional and civic leader with extensive experience in various roles since 1987. Currently serving as the Marketing Communications Manager at Surf or Sound Realty, Ben creates impactful omnichannel marketing campaigns and collaborates on the company's rebranding initiative. As Mayor of Kill Devil Hills since December 2019, Ben focuses on development policies that enhance resident and business experiences. Previously, Ben held leadership positions in content marketing, graphic design, and education boards, demonstrating a unique blend of creative and strategic expertise across multiple industries. Ben's background includes founding a successful surf shop and restaurant, providing artistic services for surfboards, and earning a BS in Art from James Madison University.
