Nico Prien

Nico Prien has extensive experience in the windsurfing industry, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Board and President of the Professional Windsurfers Association since 2015. As a professional windsurfer, Nico has contributed to the sport while also co-owning SURFCENTER and founding NP7 GmbH and surla®, a sustainable clothing brand. In addition, Nico is a prominent content creator on YouTube, managing the largest windsurfing channel with 63,000 subscribers. Previous roles include Brand Director at Starboard World Limited and involvement in product development as a team rider with Pryde Group. Nico holds educational qualifications from IU International University of Applied Sciences and FernUniversität in Hagen.
