P.eng. Murray Bye

Murray Bye, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Murray started their career at Alberta Energy Company Ltd. in 2000, where they worked as a Production Engineer for Pelican Lake until 2003. Murray then joined Encana Corporation and held several roles, including Exploitation Engineer for Peace River Arch and Deep Basin, as well as Group Lead Development for Kakwa. In 2010, Bye joined Surge Energy Inc. and served as Asset Team Lead for the West, VP Production, and currently as the Chief Operating Officer.

Murray Bye, P.Eng. began their education in 1996 at Okanagan College, where they pursued studies in General Science until 1997. Following this, they enrolled at Montana Technological University and completed their Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from 1997 to 2000.
