Dorothy Moser

Dorothy Moser has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and human resources. Dorothy is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Director of Finance at Surgere since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Controller at TestAmerica Laboratories from 2010-2021, where they were responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, and assisted in the sale of the company and the divestiture of a business segment. From 2006-2010, Dorothy was the Manager of Internal Audit at Diebold, where they assisted external consultants with a legal investigation into accounting issues. From 2005-2006, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Akron. From 2003-2005, they were the Controller at Advantium, Inc., where they prepared monthly financial statements with analysis of P&L and cash flows for the company. From 2000-2003, they were the Sr. Internal Auditor at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where they participated in researching accounting issues as part of a financial restatement. Finally, from 1987-2000, they held various roles in HR, Intellectual Property, and Expatriate Compensation at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where they prepared expatriate tax equalizations and confidentiality agreements.

Dorothy Moser attended The University of Akron from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA). Prior to that, they attended Hiram College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management (BA).
