Carlos Alvarado

Carlos Alvarado has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Carlos is currently serving as the Vice President of Accounting and Assistant Treasurer at Surlean Foods, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Senior Director of Accounting at Surlean Foods from September 2018 to February 2022. Before joining Surlean Foods, Carlos held the position of Vice President/Corporate Controller at Harte Hanks from June 2013 to August 2018. Carlos also served as the Director of Accounting at Visionworks of America from March 2005 to June 2013. Carlos started their career at HEB as a Manager Corporate Accounting from March 2003 to March 2005. Carlos gained audit experience as an Audit Manager at EY from January 1999 to March 2003 and as an Audit Staff at Arthur Andersen & Co. from June 1997 to January 1999.

Carlos Alvarado earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University between 1992 and 1997.
