Phil Brownnett

Philip Brownnett is an experienced managing director with a strong background in the surveying and aerospace industries. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) since January 2020, Philip previously held the same title at Intelligence - Airbus Defence and Space from October 2012 to January 2020. Prior to that, Philip was the Deputy Managing Director and Programme Manager/Director at Infoterra Ltd between September 2003 and October 2012. Philip's career began in surveying with roles including Production Manager at Simmons Aerofilms and Survey Manager at Engineering Surveys. Philip's experience also includes being a Senior Surveyor at Geodetic Surveys and Geophysical Services Inc, along with specialized work for Shell International. Philip holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Surveying and Mapping Sciences from North East London.
