Matthew Wu

Matthew Wu is an experienced math and science educator, currently serving as a Math and Science Teacher at Surrey Schools since January 2023, and has been a Math and Science Instructor at World Vision Academy since December 2016. Matthew designs and conducts lessons for students in grades 8 to 12, develops tailored lesson plans, and monitors student progress through regular assessments and conferences. Prior experience includes a Capstone Design Project at the University of Toronto, where Matthew collaborated with industry advisors on the redesign of a hydrometallurgical plant, and worked as a Research Assistant, focusing on biomass leaching properties and data analysis. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
