P.eng Sheetal Basra Munday

Sheetal Basra, P.Eng, PMP Candidate, currently serves as the Capital Project Manager for the Capital Project Office of Surrey Schools, overseeing major capital projects valued up to $100 million in the largest and fastest growing school district in British Columbia since November 2017. Prior to this role, Sheetal held positions including Project Manager II at TELUS, where management of a $1 billion portfolio for broadband services expansion took place, and Project Engineer at David Nairne + Associates Ltd., focusing on First Nations client expectations. Early career experience includes Assistant Project Manager at AMEC managing BC Hydro projects and a Structural Engineer-in-Training role at Hatch, with an initial position as a Civil Engineering Technologist at the Township of Langley. Sheetal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, an Advanced Diploma from Camosun College, and a Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
