Ofer Siman-Tov

Ofer Siman-Tov is a seasoned professional in the fields of photogrammetry and remote sensing, currently serving as the Manager of the Photogrammetric & Remote Sensing Department at the Survey of Israel since December 2019. Ofer oversees various activities, including the maintenance of the national topographic database, nationwide aerial photography, and the production of orthophotos. Previous experience includes roles as a Support Specialist at VisionMap, where Ofer provided training in photogrammetry and remote sensing, and as a Project Manager at Icaros, Inc., focusing on orthophoto mapping and GIS management. Additionally, Ofer held the position of Head of the Orthophoto and Photogrammetry Department at Ofek Aerial Photography and worked as a Geophysicist at the Institute for Oil Exploration and Geophysics, managing GIS systems and conducting essential seismic analysis. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Geophysics and Planetary Sciences from Tel-Aviv University.
