Ryan Bethencourt

Ryan Bethencourt is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as the CEO of Wild Earth Inc., which specializes in sustainable, plant-based protein pet food. As Managing Partner at Sustainable Food Ventures, Ryan focuses on early-stage investments in plant-based and cell-based food companies. In addition, Ryan holds the position of Partner at BABEL.Ventures, leading investments in emerging biotech firms. Ryan is also a Board Member for Jellatech and Tiamat Sciences Corp., and has been involved with UMANA, UCSF Health Hub, and InterVenn Biosciences in various advisory roles. With extensive experience in the biotech field, Ryan co-founded IndieBio and contributed to the establishment of numerous biotech companies. Educational background includes a Master’s in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick, among other qualifications.
