Ela Gokcigdem

Ela Gokcigdem is currently a Blue Economy Specialist at TÜBİTAK. Prior to this role, Ela served as a Youth Policy Advisory Council Representative for Türkiye at the Sustainable Ocean Alliance. Additionally, Ela has held positions such as Director of Finance at Zero Hour, Business Development Intern at Accelerate Wind, and Founder of the Youth Environmental Society. Ela's dedication to environmental sustainability and youth leadership is evident through their involvement in various organizations such as EarthX, EarthEcho International, and Arlington Public Schools. Ela holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Environmental Sustainability from Babson College.
