Jay Vickery has worked in the e-commerce and internet marketing field since 2007. Jay began their career at The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. as a Customer Service Associate in 2007. In 2011, they joined Sustainable Supply as Director of Operations. As Sr. Operations Manager, they managed daily operations within both the Inventory Management and Content Creation Teams and arranged and oversaw all transportation and logistics for inbound and outbound product, including international shipments. Jay also led the process of onboarding new suppliers by setting up strategic partnerships to benefit both parties. As Operations Manager, they created purchase orders to support inventory needs based off current stock levels and future forecasts, supported Marketplace (eBay, Amazon & Walmart) activity by uploading product data, maintained pricing and supported customer claims, and created SOPs for current and new processes to streamline efficiency through all departments. As Content Manager, they worked with third party data analytics to confirm all product information was in alignment with manufacturer’s specifications, and ensured compliancy by maintaining MAP and California's Proposition 65 on all website content. As Web Content Specialist, they gathered product data including: technical data sheets, descriptions, images and ASINs, and formatted product content using basic HTML editors to provide a uniform appearance throughout the website. As a Summer Intern, they wrote unique product content and SEO to ultimately rank higher on search engines such as Google and Bing, and contacted vendors for technical product information, lead times, order status and tracking of shipments.
Jay Vickery attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (BSJ) with a minor in Journalism/Advertisement/Philosophy.
