Kenneth Simon has over 15 years of experience in the environmental science and remediation field. Kenneth began their career as a Sample Preparation/Field Study Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, where they conducted field study work and assisted with rock sample preparation. Kenneth then worked as a Geologist at Tetra Tech, Inc., primarily focused on collecting environmental samples and supporting investigations for Air Force Base clients.
In 2005, Kenneth joined Hargis + Associates, Inc. as a Senior Hydrogeologist, where they analyzed and interpreted soil boring data, coordinated field activities, and prepared reports and cost estimates. Kenneth gained additional experience in database management and geospatial software.
Kenneth returned to Tetra Tech, Inc. in 2013 as a Senior Hydrogeologist/Project Manager. In this role, they managed large federal site assessment and remediation projects for the Department of Defense. From 2016 to 2019, Kenneth served as a Senior Project Manager at ETIC Engineering, where they focused on site assessment, environmental audits, and field construction projects. Kenneth was responsible for client communications, project cost tracking, and regulatory compliance.
Most recently, Kenneth worked as a Project Manager at SRS (Sustainment and Restoration Services). Since 2019, they have been delivering environmental science and remediation services for various federal Department of Defense contracts throughout California. Kenneth coordinates staffing, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.

Kenneth Simon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, completing their education from 1999 to 2003. In addition, they obtained the QSD/QSP certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists (CBPELSG Licensee) Licensed QSD Training Program in September 2019. Furthermore, Kenneth achieved the Professional Geologist certification from the Department of Consumer Affairs in December 2011.
