Updeep Singh Chatrath has been working in the textile industry for over 20 years. Updeep started their career as a weaver and then moved into management. Updeep has worked for both ITEMA and NSL Textiles Ltd. as their Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. In their current role as Deputy CEO at Sutlej, they are responsible for the P&L of the company. Under their leadership, Sutlej has turned around its operations and is now one of the leading textile companies in India.

Updeep Singh Chatrath has a certificate of specialization in strategy from Harvard Business School Online, a certificate in strategy execution from Harvard Business School Online, a certificate in sustainable business strategy from Harvard Business School Online, and a certified purchasing and supply chain manager certification from University of Houston, Continuing and Professional Studies.
