Petra Koch

Petra Koch has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Petra is currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at SVA Aargau since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Board Member / Verwaltungsrat at FLSmidth starting from November 2018. Petra also served as the Head of Global Human Resources at FLSmidth MAAG Gear AG from March 2011 to October 2018. Petra has also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Service Industry and international Law firm from April 2022 to December 2022. Petra gained experience as the Head of Human Resources and HR Development at Regionalwerke AG Baden from February 2020 to January 2022. Earlier in their career, Petra worked as a Human Resources Manager at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, Zürich from 2009 to 2011, and as the Head of Human Resources at Skandia from 1999 to 2008. Petra also served as a Human Resources Manager for IT, Logistic, Sales, and Marketing at UBS from 1997 to 1999. Petra began their career as an HR Consultant at Devis Consulting AG Zurich from 1989 to 1997.

Petra Koch has pursued various educational programs throughout their academic journey. Petra started by studying Psychology, Psychological Competencies, and Consulting at the University of Zurich, where they obtained an IPSYT degree. Later, Petra enrolled at the AKAD University to pursue a Swiss Federal Certificate in Human Resources Management and HR Businesspartner. Petra then attended the Henley Business School, where they completed an Executive Management Program called "Flying the Flag." During this program, they focused on the field of study called Mini MBA. Additionally, Petra also participated in the St. Galler Assekuranz Forum, a Management Study in Insurance program at the University of St.Gallen. Lastly, they pursued studies in Human Resources at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, specializing in the field of IAP MAS Human Resources.
