Anders Sundgot Saunes

Anders Sundgot Saunes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anders Sundgot is currently employed at Sval Energi as a Reservoir Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Spirit Energy as a Reservoir Engineer from 2018 to 2022. In 2018, they also had a summer internship at Equinor as a Production Engineer. Before transitioning to the energy sector, Anders worked as a Mentor at MentorNorge AS, providing individualized teaching in the field of science for primary and secondary school students from 2014 to 2018. Anders Sundgot also worked as a Barnehagevikar (assistant) at Toptemp, assisting in childcare settings in the Bergen area from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Anders worked briefly as a BES-Vakt (security guard) at Securitas Norge, where they focused on fire prevention and safety on an oil platform. Anders Sundgot gained early work experience as a part-time Butikkmedarbeider (store employee) at Bunnpris in Ulsteinvik from 2008 to 2011. Anders Sundgot'sfirst job was a summer position at ODIM AS, now part of Rolls-Royce Marine, where they were involved in various tasks, including facility maintenance and renovation, from 2006 to 2010.

Anders Sundgot Saunes has a diverse education history. Anders Sundgot began their educational journey at Ulstein Vidaregåande Skule from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Økonomi og samfunnsfag (Economics and Social Sciences).

Afterwards, they attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2009 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.

Anders then pursued further education at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 2013 to 2016, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum- og prosessteknologi (Petroleum and Process Technology). During their time at UiB, they also participated in an exchange program at The University Centre in Svalbard in 2016, studying Arctic Technology.

Additionally, Anders earned a Master's degree in Petroleum Technology - Reservoir Physics from the University of Bergen (UiB) from 2016 to 2018, further specializing in their field of interest.

Since 2020, Anders has been studying at the University of Stavanger, pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied data science, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

Furthermore, Anders has obtained a number of certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2019, they earned the Kappa PTA/RTA certification from KAPPA Engineering and the Petrel RE certification from NExT Schlumberger. In 2018, they completed the Data Science R Basics Course offered by DataCamp. Earlier, in 2017, they obtained the ECLIPSE Blackoil Reservoir Simulation certification from NExT Schlumberger. Lastly, in 2009, Anders obtained a driver's license (Førerkort klasse B) from Statens vegvesen.

Overall, Anders Sundgot Saunes has built a strong academic foundation in petroleum technology and is currently expanding their knowledge in applied data science.
