Ole Fridtjov Dolven

Ole Fridtjov Dolven is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and risk management. Ole Fridtjov is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Sval Energi since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Spirit Energy, where they held various roles. From June 2021 to June 2022, they served as a Facilities Manager, specifically for the Fogelberg project. Before that, from February 2016 to December 2021, they served as the HSE & Technical Safety Lead for the Oda and Fogelberg projects. Prior to joining Spirit Energy, Ole worked at Combitech Norge as the Head of Risk & Safety from April 2008 to January 2016. Ole Fridtjov also gained experience at WorleyParsons as the Technical Safety, Working Environment, and External Environment Lead from July 2013 to March 2014. Before that, they worked at ConocoPhillips and Statoil in various roles related to platform development and well control emergency preparedness. Ole Fridtjov started their career at Aker Kværner Offshore Partner as a Safety Engineer and began their professional journey at COOP as a Warehouseman while searching for jobs relevant to their education. Ole is highly skilled in risk management, safety engineering, and project management within the energy industry.

Ole Fridtjov Dolven began their education in 1994 at St. Olav VGS, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 1997, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) and completed the Examen Philosophicum. From 1998 to 2003, Dolven attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Industrial Mathematics. In 2002, they also briefly studied at the University of Newcastle in Australia, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics.
