Dr. Ulrich Mayer

Dr. Ulrich Mayer has a diverse work experience in the life sciences industry. Dr. Ulrich currently holds the position of Global Technology Manager - Bioassays at Svar Life Science AB, where they focus on supporting clients in obtaining the appropriate reporter cell-based assay for their needs. Dr. Ulrich'sresponsibilities include developing and validating assays, as well as conducting sample measurements for neutralizing antibody (Nab) and potency assays.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Mayer worked as a Senior Account Executive at Svar Life Science AB, where they provided support to customers in the field of large molecule drug development. Dr. Ulrich assisted in various assay developments, including those related to toxicity studies, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), antibody drug conjugates (ADC), neutralizing antibodies (NAbs), potency assessments, and biomarker identification.

Before joining Svar Life Science AB, Dr. Mayer worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Technical Sales Specialist for Custom Antibodies from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they held several roles at AbD Serotec - a Bio-Rad Company, including Senior Account Manager, Territory Sales Manager, and Technical Sales Specialist from 2007 to 2015.

Dr. Mayer completed their PostDoc at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2007 and their PhD at Centre d'Immunologie Marseille Luminy in 2005.

Dr. Ulrich Mayer attended Heidelberg University from 1993 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Biology. Dr. Ulrich successfully completed their studies, earning a Diplom in Biologie.
