Fredrik Nääs

Fredrik Nääs is a Senior Project Manager at Svenska kraftnät since 2020, bringing extensive project management experience from previous roles, including Project Operations Manager and Project Manager & Team Leader at Avalon Innovation (2015 - 2020) and HVDC Consultant and Project Manager at Pöyry Swedpower (2012 - 2015). Nääs's expertise encompasses HVDC technology, HV-cables, and thermal simulations, complemented by earlier experience as a Technical Sales Engineer at COMSOL, Inc. (2009 - 2012) and a Research Engineer at Novelis (2006 - 2007), where a numerical model for interfacial heat flow in aluminum casting was developed. Nääs holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from Luleå University of Technology (2003 - 2008) and attended Örebro University (2002 - 2003).
