Darren Montgomery

Darren Montgomery is currently the Chief Operating Officer at SVEXA. Darren has held this position since April of 2018. Prior to their current role, Darren Montgomery was the Director of Marketing & Business Development at svexa from April 2018 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the Silicon Valley Exercise Analytics, a physical training intelligence software company. Darren also worked with pro sports teams and elite athletes to extract individualized insights from their data then optimize training to reduce injuries and maximize performance.

Mr. Montgomery has also held the position of Sr Director of Marketing at BrightLocker from November 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they led the product marketing efforts for BrightLocker, a disruptive new crowdpublishing platform for videogames. Additionally, they were responsible for strategy, tactics and execution of complete mix across digital and mobile ad platforms, creative and content marketing, agency relationships, PR, paid/organic social, CRM and influencer marketing. Under their leadership, LightEaters was launched for iOS, the first game fully integrated with a crowdfunding platform.

Before joining BrightLocker, Mr. Montgomery worked at Pharmagin from an unknown date to November 2015 in an unknown capacity.

Darren Montgomery has a MEng in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Darren also has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business with a focus in marketing, finance, and research. Darren is also a certified CIM FCIM Member from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). Additionally, they have a certification from Hatch London in Hatch:Mobile Expert.
