Lisset Urrutia

Lisset Urrutia is an accomplished professional in the field of research and development with significant experience in energy technology. Currently serving as Director of R&D and Cell Engineering Europe at Svolt Energy Technology Co., Ltd. since August 2018, Lisset leads innovative projects, conducts technical and business risk assessments, and oversees global functional technical teams. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Engineer, focusing on silicon anode development for solid-state batteries, and positions at OXIS Energy Ltd. as Research Scientist and Project Manager, where Lisset managed key projects under the ECLIPSE H2020 and MESS Innovate UK initiatives. Lisset's earlier roles encompassed process engineering and R&D support at Smurfit Kappa, in addition to a technical internship at Baxter Healthcare. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Valle.
