Joseph Pontrello

Mr. Pontrello is a member of the North America investment team focused on real estate.

Prior to joining SVP, Mr. Pontrello held various roles at Fortress Investment Group where he worked since 2006, most recently as a Managing Director on the Real Estate and Credit Funds team. Predominantly based in New York, he also spent time in London and Los Angeles. During his tenure at Fortress, Mr. Pontrello contributed to the sourcing, execution, and realization of several billion dollars in complex opportunistic debt and equity transactions across various commercial real estate and related asset classes. He began his career in 2005 as an investment banking Associate at Credit Suisse rotating through leverage finance and financial institutions groups.

Mr. Pontrello received a J.D. from Columbia Law School and is B.S. in Biology & Philosophy from Boston College.
