Kathryn Gwilym

Kathy has expertise in the areas of roadway, utility, stormwater, and site design. Kathy takes complex issues and solves them through careful analysis and her extensive practical-based knowledge. She leads SvR's technical work, taking the planning through public PS&E’s or privately negotiated bids. She is a national expert in Low Impact Development / Green Stormwater Infrastructure- knowing how to both plan and implement the strategies while meeting the requirements for traditional systems. She is active in technical organizations and is a guest instructor for numerous local and national LID technical workshops and training.

Kathy is proud of her Washingtonian heritage and her love of Puget Sound. She loves spending time in PNW forests, parks, and playgrounds with her family, and swimming in Lake Washington, Lake Sammamish, the Arctic Circle, Havasu, Lahaina, and Coeur d'Alene!
