Ali C. Begen

Ali C. Begen is a Professor in the Computer Science Department at Özyeğin University and a Technical Consultant at Networked Media. Ali C. also holds various individual contributor and editor roles in organizations such as the Consumer Technology Association, Streaming Video Alliance, DASH Industry Forum, and ISO. Additionally, Ali C. served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Communications Society. With a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Ali has a strong background in IP video systems and has taught courses at Bilkent University as a Guest Lecturer. Prior to their current roles, Ali worked as a Tech Lead at Cisco, focusing on the design of architectures and protocols for IP video systems.
