Andrew Shao

Andrew Shao has a strong background in finance and accounting with over 14 years of work experience. Andrew is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Swap Asia since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Brightstar Corp. as a Financial Director from June 2019 to December 2021, and as a Financial Controller from October 2015 to May 2019. Andrew also has experience as a Management Accountant at Marsh from April 2014 to September 2015, and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Ingram Micro from August 2010 to April 2014. Andrew started their career as a Financial Accountant at Simms International (Australia) from September 2008 to August 2010.

Andrew Shao completed their high school education in 2002 at Taylor's College, obtaining a High School Certificate. Andrew then attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a field of study in Accounting, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a field of study in Psychology. In 2012, Andrew obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Australia.
