John Blumenthal

John Blumenthal holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Volumez since April 2023 and serves as an Equity Partner at DCVC (Data Collective) from 2012 onwards. In addition, John is an Advisor for multiple companies including Numenos AI, Attribute, SwarmOne, and Wand. Previously, John has held significant roles such as Vice President of Data Services at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 2021 to 2023, and was an Advisor at Vdoo until its acquisition by JFrog in June 2021. As a co-founder and CEO of CloudPhysics from 2012 to 2021, John led the company until its acquisition by HPE in March 2021. John's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Product Management at VMware from 2006 to 2011, focusing on storage functionality within ESX. John Blumenthal earned a BA in Mathematics and History from Columbia University.
