Leland Maschmeyer

Leland Maschmeyer has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they became the Managing Partner at Kelmhurst Capital, where they invest in early-stage tech businesses across consumer, fintech and enterprise saas. From 2019-2021, they were a Board Member and Co-Founder at Sway, a clean materials company that is replacing single-use plastics with seaweed polymers. From 2018-2021, they were the Co-Founder and Head of Product Design at River, a newstech company offering a healthier news consumption experience. From 2016-2019, they were the Chief Brand Officer and Chief Creative Officer + Chief Strategy Officer at Chobani. From 2007-2019, they were the Co-Founder and CEO, as well as the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Creative Officer at COLLINS. From 2004-2007, they were a Senior Strategist at McKinney. Lastly, from 2010-present, they have been a Professor at the School of Visual Arts - MFA Design.

Leland Maschmeyer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
