Angie Tizzano

Angie Tizzano, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of experience in various HR roles. Their most recent position was as a Sr. Total Rewards Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since May 2020. Prior to that, they served as an HR Service Center/Benefits Manager at Grand Canyon Education, Inc. from April 2019 to April 2020, where they managed employee benefits and corporate wellness programs, as well as a team of HR Service Center Representatives. From October 2018 to April 2019, Angie worked as a Human Resources Director at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, where they oversaw all aspects of HR impacting employee engagement and retention. Before that, they were a Human Resources Consultant at Dignity Health from April 2017 to October 2018, where they served as a business partner to facility leaders, focusing on employee benefit design and administration. In their role as a Sr. Client Manager at Willis Towers Watson from July 2016 to April 2017, Angie was responsible for middle market client management and ensuring service level commitments were met. Angie also has experience as a Client Relationship Manager at Goldleaf Partners from October 2014 to July 2016, managing relationships with employee benefit clients and overseeing new client training. Angie's extensive HR experience also includes serving as a Human Resources Manager at Thunderbird School of Global Management from October 2000 to December 2014, where they managed the HR department and implemented new employment policies and procedures. Before that, they worked as a Benefits Specialist at PetSmart, administering employee benefits plans. Their career began as a Claims Associate at Champus BC/BS from August 1996 to May 1997.

Angie Tizzano, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in BA Human Resources Management from Western International University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Associates of Arts from Central Lakes College, which they pursued from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Angie Tizzano has obtained several certifications. Angie is a certified People Manager Qualification (PMQ) holder from SHRM, which they obtained in March 2022. Angie is also a certified Mental Health First Aider, having completed the training program offered by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in October 2021. Furthermore, they hold an Arizona Health and Life Insurance License, granted by the Arizona Department of Insurance in October 2016. Angie Tizzano is also a certified SHRM-SCP, having obtained the qualification from SHRM in February 2016. Lastly, they possess a Minnesota Health and Life Insurance License, which they acquired from the Minnesota Department of Insurance in November 2020.
