Heath Anderson has a diverse work experience history. Heath started as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Shippensburg University in 2009 and then worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The College of Wooster from 2010 to 2012. Heath then joined the Tula Region Interaction and Migration Project as a Principal Investigator from 2012 to 2020, conducting research on interaction and migration. In 2013, Anderson became an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they worked until 2020. Heath then joined HNTB in 2021 as a Project Archaeologist and Field Director until 2022. Currently, they are working at SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Project Archaeologist and Principal Investigator.
Heath Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Archaeology from Boston University, graduating in 1999. Heath then pursued their further education at Penn State University, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology from 2001 to 2003. Heath continued their studies at Penn State University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Anthropology from 2003 to 2009.
In terms of additional certifications, Heath Anderson obtained a certification in "Project Management Simplified" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
