Mallory Phillips has a diverse work experience in the environmental and natural resource management field. They started their career as a WERC Intern at the US Geological Survey in 2020. They then worked as an OneCreek Intern at Putah Creek Council, where they focused on restoration projects and watershed management. In 2021, Mallory joined the University of California, Davis as a Student Engineer and Husbandry Intern, gaining experience in constructing chicken tractors and assisting with experimental design. They also worked as a Putah Creek Natural Reserve Technician, where they focused on invasive species removal, native plantings, and irrigation. Mallory then joined PBS Engineering and Environmental as a Natural Resource Intern before becoming a Staff Biologist. Currently, they are working at SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Staff Biologist and Field Operations Coordinator.
Mallory Phillips pursued their education from 2017 to 2021 at the University of California, Davis. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology.
