Mooney Meghan has a diverse work experience in the field of archaeology and environmental consulting. Mooney began their career as an Archaeological Lab Technician at Skelly and Loy, Inc. in 2003. In the following years, they worked as an Archaeological Field Technician at Christine Davis Consultants, Michael Baker International, and GAI Consultants, Inc. Mooney also served as the Program Coordinator at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for a brief period in 2007.
In 2010, Meghan took on the role of Archaeological Field and Lab Director at Tetra Tech, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they also worked as an Archaeological Field Technician at Heberling and Associates, Inc. In 2011, they briefly worked at The Louis Berger Group as an Archaeological Lab Technician and Curation Specialist.
Since 2014, Meghan has been working at SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Cultural Resources Field Director and Project Manager. Mooney'sextensive experience in the field and diverse roles make their a highly qualified professional in archaeology and environmental consulting.
Meghan Mooney began their education at Mercyhurst University in 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology/ Archaeology. Mooney studied at Mercyhurst University for four years, graduating in 2007. During their time at Mercyhurst University, Meghan also participated in the Mercyhurst University Archaeological Field School, which took place at Fort Hood, Texas, in 2005. In 2004, they also attended the University of Pittsburgh's Archaeological Field School in Ithaca, New York.
