Associate Project Archaeologist at SWCA

Nadia W. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nadia started their career at SWCA Environmental Consultants as an Associate Project Archaeologist in June 2020. In October 2020, they transitioned to Trader Joe's, where they held the role of Social Media Section Leader/Crew until June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Equinox from September 2015 to August 2020, where they were responsible for Front Desk and Kids Club duties. Nadia also worked at the Massachusetts Historical Commission from June 2016 to June 2020, taking on the roles of Preservation Planner/Archaeologist and Technical Services Clerk. In addition, they were a Graduate Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UMass Boston from September 2015 to December 2018. Nadia worked as a Sales Associate at Walin & Wolff from June 2014 to April 2016. Nadia also gained experience as an Administrative Assistant to the Director at Amherst College from February 2015 to September 2015. Furthermore, they served as an NAARCH Lab Research Intern/Field Technician at the American Museum of Natural History from September 2014 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked at Tauck as a Sales/Marketing and Human Resources Assistant from December 2013 to September 2014. Lastly, they were a Field School Student at the University of Leicester in the summer of 2014.

Nadia W. began their education at Staples High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology. Nadia then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Historical Archaeology from UMass Boston between 2015 and 2018.
