Heath Garner, M.S. QHP has over 20 years of experience in ecological and natural resources management. Heath is currently working as a Sr. Natural Resources Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since June 2018. Prior to this role, they worked at Enercon Services where they were a Senior Ecologist/Project Manager from May 2010 to June 2018. Before joining Enercon Services, they were the Owner/Ecologist at Southern Ecological Services from March 1999 to June 2010. Heath also worked as a Wetlands Restoration Monitor at Ducks Unlimited from 1998 to 1999. Heath started their career as a Wildlife Research Specialist at the University of Arkansas at Monticello from January 1997 to October 1998.

Heath Garner, M.S. QHP, obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Ecology from Arkansas State University in the years 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management, also at Arkansas State University. In addition to their academic achievements, Heath has several certifications. Heath received a Section 10 T&E Species Recovery Permittee certification from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in June 2013. In September 2003, they obtained the RX-300 Burn Boss certification from the Arkansas Prescribed Fire Council. Going back even further, in November 1988, Heath became a Master Falconer through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
