K Anderson is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in gender advocacy, education, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Gender Affirming Navigator at Southwest Center since April 2022, K Anderson assists trans and gender expansive clients in accessing medical care and navigating legal processes. Previous experience includes roles as a Grader and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University, providing support in various interdisciplinary courses, and serving as President of The Association of African American Students at DePauw University. K Anderson co-founded the Queer Students of Color organization, emphasizing inclusivity and support within the LGBTQIA+ community. Additional roles include internships focused on HIV policy advocacy and peer education on health issues, complemented by academic qualifications including a Master of Arts in American Studies from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University.
